2013 was a strange year almost from the beginning. If you had told me on January 1, 2013 where I would be on January 1, 2014 I would have probably laughed at you. We also owe Casey and Lauren something close to 435 meals to pay them back for how many times they let us come over and eat while we were living with mom and dad. I received a comment on my first blog post from a friend of mine .

There is something powerful about offering something mundane, like driving, to God as worship. It brings into perspective our great need for God in every area of our day, and minimizes the irksome tidbits that often throw us over the edge.

After our introductions, we had tea and put our things away.

So, I juiced with only lunch everyday for three days. It was difficult because I really only enjoyed the fruit juices. I have a killer sweet tooth. And the fruit juices left me with mouth sores. I guess I overdid them. If you have any really great whole food or raw recipes, fill me in! I think I may just not have found my place in this new little food world.
